The hotel is fine, but the service at breakfast was scarce and if you don’t want to eat the remains of the previous nights wedding (there is always one booked till the next year; this is what the manager said), there is little left for the continental breakfast. We tried to use the swimming pool but it is actually external to the hotel and public. Careful with the massages since no one speaks English and they try to make you do anything, from peeling to sauna and massage in a private room.

As regards the four hotels we booked through your company, we were pleased with the facilities. The location of all of them was convenient, near subway stations. We really enjoyed staying in the middle of a neighborhood that showed real life.

Unfortunately it's very difficult to find English speakers in China even in these hotels.

We'd like to mention specially Haohai International Hotel in Datong. In our opinion the best hotel we visited. This does not refer only to the facilities which were excellent. They made their best to understand us, to help us with train tickets we couldn't book, in a few words to make our stay better.

On leaving the hotel we left a note that read:
Zheshi Zhongguozuihao de fandian. Xiexie nimen!
Roxana Vulcano, Dr Ricardo Bisignani cong Agenting.

WE wanted to let them know that this was the best hotel in China but my Chinese is very poor. Will you kindly remind them that Ms Vulcano Roxana and Dr Bisignani Ricardo stayed at their hotel on October27? It was just one night but ALL of them were very efficient. Including the taxi driver that showed us the caves and the hanging monastery!

We were given a choice of a room with or without a window. Since in America, the only advantage to having a window is for the view, we thought it unnecessary and chose a room without a window. When we arrived, we found our room unbearably hot. I could not breathe in there. The guest staff brought in a machine to cool it down, but we had to insist on moving to another room, and we were charged around 30 RMB more for a room with a window.

The manager explained that local people enjoy the heat, and that the option of a room with a window is for people who prefer a room that is not as warm. That is not something western people understand, and it is impossible to know that from the web-site booking options.

Thank you so much for your kind and sincere reply. About the serious problem you met in the hotel, we are sincerely sorry. We have consulted the hotel and were informed by the hotel staff that the only difference between Standard Room (A Type) and Standard Room (B Type)(Without Window) is that the latter had no window. We do have mentioned the difference in our website and sincerely hope for your better understanding.

After making the reservation, I went to the hotel directly, and there was no problem of the check in. I really appreciate the efficient booking service. Definitely I will use your service again.
(2) For the hotel. I had a good time in this hotel. The room is clean and comfortable, all facilities in the room work very well. Highly recommend this hotel to all.

I visit Datong for the business. And I booked one single room in haohai hotel through travelchinaguide booking center. There is no any problem on the communication with the booking center. Everything goes very well. And I always get the promptest and useful reply from them. I will recommend their service to all of my friend and colleague. As for the hotel, it claims the best hotel in local area. Good location! The room is clean and spacious. Staffs are friendly. The service can not reach the 5 star international hotel, but I will come here again.
