Yes, it will cost you about more than CNY80 (normal price) since it is midnight. If you want to take a D train departs from East station, taking a taxi will cost about 35 rmb and 26 min; and G train departs from south station, taking a taxi will cost about 63 rmb and 1 hour.

Take the shuttle bus No.1 to the train station first, and then take a taxi to the hotel (CNY10, 4min). Actually, you can also walk to the hotel, since there is only about 830 m from the train station to the hotel.

If you want to do Shopping in clothes and wholesale area, you could choose hotels like Sino Trade Center, Guangzhou, Hotel-elan, Guangzhou and etc in Guangzhou Railway Station area since there are many wholesale markets nearby. White Cloud Mountain is located in Baiyun District, and you can take subway line 2 or 3 there directly. To visit Pearl River, you can take Subway Line 2 and get off at Haizhu Square Station, then the Tianzi Wharf for Pearl River Cruise is close by.

As I know, there are several trimmings and rhinestones factories in Yuexiu District as well as one big wholesale in Guangzhou Railway Station/Liuhua Complex. Guangzhou Hotel is with easy access to factories in Yuexiu District. While, Liuhua Hotel, Guangzhou and Hotel-elan, Guangzhou are quite close to the wholesale.
