I hope your holiday was good. My flight from GZ to Guilin was delayed but no problem on return flight. Hotel Universal Guilin was ok but next time I will try a different hotel.
By the way, in case anybody ever asks you about comfort on Chinese airplanes, Air China was much more comfortable and had more leg room than Shenzhen Airlines. I am over 185 meters tall and I could not fit in Shenzhen Airlines seat but Air China was fine. Thank you for your help. I will contact you for help with my next trip.

Universal Guilin was so, so.... the Italian restaurant mentioned on the website was nonexistent.... no options for us when we arrived at 10.00 pm as we were vegetarians.... rooms OK and we only stayed the night leaving early in the morning for Yangshuo.
TCG booking process was very efficient, effective and reliable.... web site is very user friendly and easy to navigate.... just a little bit of time lag after you make a booking request and their confirmation but that too, they do deliver well within the 24 hours they promise on the website.... also liked the flexibility of not having to pay in advance.

Thank you for all your help on our recent trip to China. From the very start I was given every assistance from Cissy when booking accommodation for 14 people at 4 hotels. This is the first time I have used TCG booking Service and I was a bit concerned from what other people had said on the net about other booking services so I took a copy of all booking paperwork so as to prove reservations, payment etc.
This was not necessary as the hotels had been informed and had our keys waiting for us. One thing I did which worked well was to photocopy everyone's passport, writing in their visa number. When asked for passports I gave them a copy.
TCG even purchased our train tickets and delivered them to the hotel. I don't think this was the normal thing but it is very difficult to buy train tickets yourself unless you arrive 3 days prior to departure and even more difficult when you don't speak Mandarin.
