The room is satisfactory and the hotel location is good for me. For staff service, although satisfactory(average level), they need to improve on their general knowledge about Beijing eg. how to get to places of interest and also be more friendly. Breakfast is good but as I was staying for a few days, I noticed they serve the same type of food. Need some variation. Overall, I rate the hotel at 2.5 star level instead of 4 star.

I am happy with TCG.

Greetings,

First off I would like to say that I have been very satisfied with the service provided by you and your company but I was not very happy with my latest stay at the Howard Johnson in Beijing.

The hotel itself was as expected and no complaints about that but the service we recieved was definately not up to the standard I would have expected for a 4 star hotel where we booked rooms at the club floor.

No problems during check-in and the service in the 10th floor reception was generally nice.

We ordered a baby cot for our 7 month old baby and this was already waiting for us in our room. It looked very nice and as our little girl was very tired we put her in the cot to sleep. Unfortunatle she was not sleeping very well and when we checked we discovered that they had not put a madrass in the cot. The sheets had been put directly over the only thinly polstred bottom plate and was in effect the same as if we had put her down on a wooden plate with only her pillow! We were not
very happy about this and complained to housekeeping but all they could do was give us some extra bedding we could put underneath. It looked like the same type of bed they used at the howard johnson in Xi'an where we stayed the week before but in Xi'an they had a proper madrass in the bed. They should have the same in beijing!

On two occasions we had lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurent. It was ordered from the a'la carte menu and not the buffet but in some cases the food was cold and the one person who ordered the staek got it half and an hour later than the rest of the persons.

During checkout of Mr. Alex Bisgaard Kristensen and Ms. Ulla Houm?ler there were big problems. They had to fly out of Beijing airport at 10 o'clock so they had ordered a taxi for 7 o'clock. The restaurent adverticed breakfast from 6.30. At 6.15 they wanted to check out and then go and have breakfast before the taxiride but the reception on the 10th floor said it was not possible to check out this early. They could not check out before 7.30 or at the earliest 7 o'clock. If they
wanted they could try the 1st. floor reception! This they did but was told that club floor guest were required to use the 10th. floor reception. When finally they managed to check out and went for breakfast nothing was ready yet. Breakfast was in reality only ready after 7 o'clock.

The latest episode with the check out is completely unacceptable. No 4 star hotel can complain if you want to check out at 6.15 and if they advertice breakfast at 6.30 it MUST be there at 6.30 and not 1 minute later.

I will personally never stay at that hotel again.

I will once more say that I have no problems with TCG but if you have a list with comments please make sure to add mine.

Brgds.

In Peking we stopped in Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel, Beijing - an optimum variant for tourists as a beside RW station and travel agency it is direct opposite to hotel. The hotel good, clean rooms, does not cause service of censures. Excellent breakfasts of the European style at fine restaurant. Very much it was pleasant.

I was very happy with the ease of booking the hotel and that the confirmation
of the booking was done in a reasonable time frame. The hotel room was clean
and all amenities catered for as required. It was very central to our
requirements. My only criticism would be with the restaurant on 5th floor
(Atrium cafe) where we had breakfast each day. Staff need to be more
attentive to clearing of tables, ensuring there are enough placements
for each person at the table, taking a little more care when clearing
dirty dishes. Apart from that minor complaint we would most likely stay
there again.
Kind regards

I was quite satisfied withTCG booking center which was far better than another service which wanted to be paid long in advance.
I was also quite satisfied with the Howard Johnson Paragon hotel in terms of location and services. The room I had was a bit dark and when I was there (I believe it was an holidays) there was only a buffet breakfast which I did not like. What has puzzled me is the low price I paid but maybe it was because of the holidays

I had breakfast there every morning...included with the price of the room. Every morning the breakfast was the same. They need to change it around... offer a variety of dishes. Perhaps add pancakes, waffles, other specialties for a change. Also they had one man making omelets/eggs for all the people. They need to add maybe two men or three making eggs for the guests.. so they are not waiting in a long line.

I paid to play table tennis.....and the room where they had the table was very dark. Need to put more lighting in that room... or at least don't charge for it. Other hotels do not charge for those amenities.

Found hotel to be very clean and the people working there very friendly. I found all the people of China to be friendly. I would love to travel again in China. Thank you...
