Our stay in the hotel was very pleasant: excellent rooms, friendly service. The walk to the city centre is not too long and nice through the older parts of the town.

This was my second time to use your service and I must say that I am very impressed with your efficiency and overall excellent service. I intend to travel extensively in China and will certainly be using you again in the future!
Thank you.
The Huangshan Tangkou Hotel provided us with a relatively pleasant stay.
The staff are friendly and very helpful.
The room was OK and room service good. We were a little dubious about the design that has a frosted glass window between the bedroom and the shower. Strange.
The hotel supplied complimentary water, which is unusual these days, and also a hot ginger drink for guests who got wet in the rain. A very nice touch.
The food in the hotel was above average and the service at dinner very good and friendly.
There was a little confusion about breakfast. I thought that I had paid for that in advance, but it seems not. The range of foods available at the breakfast buffet was very good.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its location is convenient for exploring the old town, which is worth seeing.
It is a bit of a walk to get the coach for the mountain, but not too arduous, the main road is very busy however, and care must be taken when walking on it.
Avoid the "private taxis" outside the hotel. They offer to drive you to the coach station and charge 20-30 RMB for a 5 minute ride! A taxi is not necessary.
Also, don't believe the ladies selling raincoats who swear that it will rain today!
Again many thanks,
regards,
Bill McCann
