Located inside the historical ancient City Wall and in the center part of the shopping and entertainment zone, Grand Metropark Hotel Xian (former Hyatt Regency Hotel) is an ideal place to stay for both business persons and travelers. It was opened in 1990 and renovated in 2001. Now, it has 315 luxury and delicate rooms, including Hyatt rooms, guest suites, family suites and presidential suites, etc. All the rooms are in a combined style of traditional Chinese and modern west. The hotel is well situated and has good facilities but the outlook showing its ages. The room is small but comfortable. Everything in the room worked well, and the bed is comfortable enough to sleep.

The breakfast was plentiful; the steam and sauna on the second floor is worth to experience. There are computers in the lobby for free use. We stayed there two nights and explored the Luoma night market. Our guide told us Luoma night market is the most famous place among youth. It is a really attractive place for young people, but not us.

1. Hyatt Regency Xian Hotel: Excellent. I and my wife had an enjoyable stay at Xian. We were on our family tour with our two sons. Hotel staff have been very receptive to our needs particularly with our four year old son. The location is good, within the ancient walled city and convenient access to shops, transports.

2. TCG booking service: We have been touring China for over two years now. My booking experience through TCG Booking centre is by far the best.
