The proximity to the river and West Street make this hostel an ideal place to stay. The carpets everywhere are worn and need to be replaced, but in general the room was great, as we had a balcony overlooking the market area. There was no western breakfasts at the hostel, but plenty of good food nearby. The hotel surrounding was OK. Hotel was too expensive for the quality of rooms and especially the service of the staff. Breakfast was so expensive and lousy, that we cancelled it. We compared the hotel to other local hotels and found that it was too expensive. Staff were friendly but useless and hardly anyone spoke English - this was much better in other hotels we checked out.
