We enjoyed this hotel, even though the swimming pool was unavailable because it is under re-construction (Feb 2011). The location is very convenient. The airport shuttle bus arrives to the left of the building, 1 min walk to reception, but as there is no sign on the hotel wall on that side, beware the taxi drivers who want to charge you 50yuan to drive you around the block back to reception! The subway is a few minutes walk and Tian'anmen Square walking distance on a sunny day with a food stop half way along at Oriental Plaza. Beware Great Wall tours. I was promised by tour reception staff we would not go to Badiling but that is where the tour took us. The hotel apologized by giving us a free tour (we chose Kung Fu, which was great). Comfortable and spacious rooms.
