Location is fantastic. Overall service is good and the hotel is clean with good facilities e.g. pool, gym. Room size is good, very spacious and comfortable.

I would say this hotel is located in a good location with access to the central shopping district as well as the Hongya area (near the jiang area).

The only thing I was quite pissed off is the travel agency in the hotel which I asked to arrange a trip to Jiuzaigou and the Three Gorges ferry trip. They promised me they will take care of everything with top class accommodation comparable to Howard Johnson quality. I don’t mind the cost if it is reasonable. But they stuffed me with a lousy hotel in accommodation and not a top end cruise ferry as they conveyed the message. And the best part, they mentioned the bus ride from Yichang to Wuhan is only 2.5hrs whereas it took me 6hrs to get to the city. I also need internet access during the trip and it was neither in the accommodation i had in Jiuzhaigou or the ferry i took.

Decent hotel but seriously the travel agency in the lobby is an embarrassment to Howard Johnson.

Stayed at this brand new hotel and all the facilities and services are up to 5 star. Understand they opened in Dec 2007 and they have done a great job for a brand new hotel. Location is the key to Howard Johnson ITC Plaza. Way to go and keep it up.
