Hotel Information
General

Jianghan hotel was built by the French in 1914 and originally known as the "Denim Hotel". This is one of the best examples of colonial architecture in Wuhan, and most of them are very difficult to find! Although from the outside this place looks pretty run down, the interior is impressive. The hotel restaurant is excellent, providing a wide range of food from all over the world, and the Canton and Chiu Chow cuisineare exceptionally good. The Cafe Veranda serve good coffee in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Check in and Check out time: 12:00pm

We were very happy with the booking of Jinghan hotel, Wuhan and we really, really enjoyed our stay. Excellent reception, friendly staff (both in the hotel and restaurant), great food...all in all a great stay and welcome to mainland China. All we would say is it would be even better if you could think more about the environment, save water signs perhaps, or the option not to wash the towels everyday, plus a recycling service would be good. Climate change and global warming is a very real threat!

Thank you

Hi-I thought the service was fine but I was surprised at how small our room was.
My major complaint re the Jianghan Hotel was the TV.
I just wanted to relax in comfort and watch English television and the choice for an International Hotel was shocking.
The only English channel was a religious channel-and what wasn't in Chinese was in German for some reason.
It was very disappointing as I had my son (9yr) with me and he was looking forward to watching some cartoons and movies in English.
The hotel was reasonably expensive so I assumed I had paid for that service.
The TV for us was an issue so I wouldn't stay there again.
Sorry if I sound fussy-I hope this information helps.
Thanks anyway for organising the booking
Regards Christine Maher.

Thank you for your services of all correspondence and arrangements you(TCG) made during my trip to China. We enjoyed to stay on all hotel we booked except at Jiang Han hotel, Wuhan. We found that the hotel has an unfamiliar policy, they gave us 1 coupon for breakfast for only 1 Person, meanwhile all hotels of worldwide I stayed always gave a coupon valid for 2 persons each room or even nothing, but not 1 coupon for 1 Person although the hotel reception knew that the room were 2 Persons. It's not matter of value money, but it does not make sense...really. I also wrote the comment to the hotel that I will never stay anymore at this hotel, when I've the opportunity to go there.
