Stayed here for 4 days on business and meetings in Wenzhou. Hotel is a 4 star hotel with plenty of amenities to include restaurants, gift shop, business center, English speaking staff, currency exchange, etc. Rooms were clean and nice. Staff very friendly and helpful and assisted in anything needed including translation, helping with directions, etc. Bonus is that most of the staff speak English well and if not, the managers and concierge all spoke English well and helped with arranging for UPS or FedEx package delivery, etc. The Korean restaurant on site is decent and busy at night. The breakfast was very good and included a wide variety of Chinese fare as well as some Western food such as omelets, eggs made to order, fruits, coffee, etc. One two of the evenings, there were fireworks in front of the hotel..not sure if this was for a wedding or some other special event. The hotel also accepted deposit and payment with foreign credit cards Visa, MasterCard, etc. which was a nice bonus. It's a little way from the city center but only about a 15 minute taxi ride to downtown and about 12 RMB or about $2 USD. Lots of staff on hand and really caters to the guests and the hotel area is impeccably clean and well maintained. Popular with business and tourist guests. Nice hotel if you don't want to stay in downtown Wenzhou and thus not a lot of outside restaurants outside the hotel within walking distance but there is a traditional restaurant about 2 blocks from the hotel if you walk out the front and turn left. Restaurant is on the corner across the street from the canal/river upstairs. Seafood mainly and traditional Wenzhou food. I am satisfied with Hotel receptionists and bed making services etc...except one thing. I got upset with those in the massage reception. They are so rude, they just kept talking in Chinese though obviously I couldn't understand it at all. Without getting someone who could speak English, they just started their services much more than I ordered. So without pre-consent, I had to pay more in the end for the extra-services which I didn't agree before services. Guest Name : Ms. Momoe
