Outstanding stay in August 2009. We had a tour guide named Jenny who was spectacular! We loved the people in the hotel and visiting out on the street. A parking attendant at the restaurant 1 block from the hotel spoke English very well. Each time we went to the restaurant the waitresses would go and get him so that he could help us with the menu and interpret for us. He was a college student with a major in politician science and business. His name was Lee and China should be very proud of this outstanding young man. The little teenage girls smiling at us in a grocery shop down the road finding us a novelty were motivated to practice their English, once I spotted the word "Freedom" on one of their T-shirt and said, "hun how". the jabbering that ensued was warming.

The square outside the hotel with the local people relaxing with their babies and toddlers gave us a better view of the common dwellers of the city and more insight into the Chinese culture. Nanchang, although not known for its tourism, was unforgettable for us. The Jin Feng is where I first met my new little granddaughter. Jin Feng is where my daughter became a mother through the Great Wall Adoption Program. The Jin Feng was well equipped for this great event. Jin Feng's nursery room with the children toys and beautiful pictures on the wall, with the Happy Time Sheep, and the large sand courtyard spanning a few levels where you could sit peacefully viewing the rock garden, the fish pools in the center of the hotel, the great breakfast and dinner foods made our stay most memorable. The traffic was such an eye-opener. It was amusing to see so many modes of travel in traffic that I have never before witnessed, and not an accident to occur! Amazing! Viewing temples from our hotel windows, other buildings old and new, roof top activities- gardening, raising animals, pigeon coops in alley ways contrasting cultures was an experience to behold. The new city, the ferries wheel, temples, squares, parks!

We have stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my family. Hotel location is nice, only 10 minutes' cab ride to pedestrian area with KFC, MC, and other modern stores. Hotel is nicely appointed. The 4th floor recreation center (including the Gym, swimming pool, ect) is newly opened in this year. It's free for the staying guest! Rooms are typical Chinese business class hotel- somewhat small, nice linens, high speed internet, firm bed. Bathroom is also tight but good quality fixtures and included toothbrush, tooth paste, comb, razor, two bottles of complimentary water, etc. Breakfast buffet is average quality.

Tips: If you like to observe china cultures, the Jen Feng is a great place to stay. Walk back through the courtyard between the hotel and the restaurant and it opens into a quaint tree-lined street with local shops and residents going about everyday life. Wake up early to watch the area come to life - Tai Chi, badminton, etc.

Dear Sirs,

I am pleased with your booking service. It is convenient and helpful in order to find a room even in the province. I will use it in future too!

I was also satisfied with the facility, staff service and location of the Jin Feng Hotel, Nanchang. We had a pleasant stay. The only thing was that we could not change any money. Ok it was a Sunday but even a nearby office of the Bank of China was not able to offer that service on a Sunday. All in all it was a successful business trip and you contributed to it.

Best regards

Erich Amling, Germany
