I was VERY VERY satisfied with TCG booking service, very efficient and easy. I will use your service again in the upcoming trip in China.
The hotel is budget hotel, very nice. Room is clean and not deluxe at all, but the room rate is cheap. Hotel location is very good, in in the luomashi commercial area. It is only 45 minutes' drive to the international airport, and 10 minutes' drive to the North Railway Station ?easy transportation. The hotel staffs are well-mannered and helpful. I really enjoyed my staying in this hotel, would like to recommend.

You were helpful and prompt in emails and double confirmed booking to reassure me. But as for the hotel itself, i would like to say as below:1) They could not find your reservation booking. They did not look hard for it. But they had rooms so still stayed there. Their website and all websites with agencies listing this hotel says "accepts Visa, Mastercard". They refused to take foreign cards. That makes no sense as Visa and Mastercard are international payments. Hotels should not say take these cards if NOT ones issued by foreign banks. I have never come across this before. 2) They say breakfast is Chinese and Western. There was no Western food - it was a Chinese Breakfast. My companion, Chinese, confirmed that this food is all Chinese - nothing separate for western tastes. 3) I chose hotel as needed internet access for my laptop. The internet in room did not work and I knew (as a big world traveller and 25 visits to China) that the problem was the supplied cable. The laptop dectected NO connection. However the hotel reception insisted cable was fine, refused to replace it and claimed my laptop was the problem. So I had to spend an hour with help of my friend to find finally a new cable in Chengdu shop and buy it. as soon as I changed the cable, the connection immediately worked fine and did rest of stay. I should not have had to waste that time and spend that money. The hotel should listen to customer and replace cable and not give "standard answer" 4) Having paid substantial cash deposit as they did not take cards, after two nights we returned in evening to hotel to find locked out of rooms - They had decided they need more money for the stay but this was not explained at check-in. 5) First night, my friend received an unwanted early wake-up call that was not requested and annoying as she wanted to sleep - no apology. The maids did not replace basic things like toothpaste and brush in room once used the next day. Overall I found the hotel very unhelpful and no staff once they knew there had been a problem showed any concern to provide better service for next problem. I do not recall any other Europeans in the hotel and they do not seem geared up to welcome foreigners. I have stayed at other hotel in this chain and the associated Jin's Inn elsewhere in China without this problem. I think without my friend's help speaking fluent Chinese, I would have had even worse service. I cannot recommend this hotel at least to foreigners - and I think you should talk to them about their service, misleading advertising re Credit Cards, Western breakfasts and so on. I guess a local Chinese tourist with local payment card, only wanting Chinese breakfast and not with laptop would have found the hotel OK. Catering for foreigners is their weakness!
