Their English is almost non existent and they seem to prefer serving Chinese customers. If you are waitng to see reception and a Chinese person walks in they will serve the Chinses first and that gets pretty irritating after a while. I had arranged to meet someone at the hotel and they would phone my room when they arrived. That person arrived, phoned my room and got no reply even though I was there. That person was not allowed to go to my room to check whether I was there. They did not offer to check whether I was in themselves. That person had to wait around in reception for an hour and a half. Jinjiang inn hotel is very simple, but meet my requirements, I always use to be there, I need no more than that in Shanghai (follow my response below in blue and yellow). Like all the other Jinjiang inns, this is a budget hotel. Room price was very cheap, reasonable and room was clean. Hotel staffs couldn't speak good English, but they are very helpful. Anyway, it was very suitable for the package hiker.: Guest Name:CoraNationality : Updated:2007-11-21
