General
Jing Chuan Hotel lies in the intersection of the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, Qingyang Temple and Wuhou Memorial Temple. It is in a traditional garden style which is in total harmony with the nearby Huanhua scenic resort of southwest Chengdu. With a great location, one could get to the city center, the railway station and airport easily from the hotel. Altogether, there are 200 guest rooms in this hotel, including presidential suites, luxury suites, standard rooms and 200 single rooms as well as 40 business suites. The hotel also has different kinds of conference rooms which can hold 50 to 400 guests. I was very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff. Some spoke English, but if unable to understand my request, they would always find someone else who could help. The location is quite convenient - about 13RMB by taxi to the centre of town. I would have liked to have a small 'fridge in the room though - especially as there are no restaurants nearby serving Western food, or even coffee. A couple of convenience stores & markets in the area were quite useful.

The Jing Chuan Hotel was perfect. In the center of Chengdu and AC and Internet worked. The staff was busy, efficient and English speaking but could smile a little more. But maybe they were stressed that day.
We shall certainly use your esteemed company again next time.

I would highly recommend Travel China Guide as it was prompt, clear and very helpful during our stay in China. The hotel has a very convenient location, enjoys easy access to the airport and the train station. The location of the hotel is the important point for me, because I need to fly from one pace to another for the business. Thus I always stayed in the hotel with easy transportation.
The hotel is just ok, room is very clean and comfortable, but the room is not spacious, and the furniture looks very old. The positive point is that all facilities in the room work very well, the air-conditioner, the TV and the phone. In all, the hotel is just ok.
