General
The Jing Yuan Hotel is a four star hotel located at the northwest of the city, about 3km form the city center. There is a garden within the hotel. The Jing Yuan has different type of rooms, including standard rooms, deluxe rooms, suites and presidential suite. All rooms are comfortably furnished. There is a good western restaurant on the premises which serves American food. There is also a Chinese restaurant and bars, others facilities including an indoor swimming pool, night club, sauna and massage center, bowling alley and billiards room.

The booking service trough internet to TCG was great, also the reaction time and the help during my visit in china was great. i will use it the next time again.
TCG booking service is very good, professional staffs, efficient service. I got prompt reply after I submitted the booking request. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
2. Jing Yuan Hotel, Datong - The staff was very cordial, the facility was acceptable. However, there was no heating in the room. The problem we had was that there was no one who could speak English and we had a lot of trouble ordering meals as all of the menus were in Chinese and not English. The location of the Hotel is a bit out of the city centre. The Hotel had only very few guests. The Hotel Management needs to promote the Hotel to Group Tours as it is absolutely dead.
