The hotel location is not good and the transportation is inconvenient. However, Kaifeng is a small city and it is easy to find the hotel. The hotel facilities are new and the staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel has a strong cultural atmosphere with excellent paintings and calligraphies. The room is clean and quiet with delicate designs, but the bathroom is not spacious. Besides, the water from the shower is a little cold even in summer. The major problem is that the hotel does not accept any international credit card or provide currency exchange service; this caused trouble when we check out. The booking service provided by your company is great and greatly helped us. Thank you very much. Guest Name : Steven Updated : 2008-5-16 The hotel looks very beautiful in night, because I check into the hotel at around 8pm. The receptionist is very kind and courteous, she can speak English. There was no problem for my reservation made through TravelChinaGuide booking center on internet one month before. The porter helped me to take my baggage to the room they arranged. I was surprised to see that the room was so clean and comfortable, because I had stayed in a very dirty room for one night in Beijing. The hotel is very conveniently located near to the railway station, but a little far from the airport. Thus I need to take a taxi to the airport with a little expensive transportation fee.
