With fantastic scenery and beautiful landscape it is nearby the Jiuzhaigou scenic area, the World Cultural Heritage and nestled in the mountains. It is constituted by the conference hall, the Canling Ancient Town Museum and forest villas of different styles. The most beautiful scene is the transparent glass composition in the lobby and the hot spring center which is integrating with the natural landscape. We just spent 3 nights at this hotel. For an "intercontinental hotel" this was extremely disappointing. It snowed most nights and was consequently cold! But we were not aware until the last day that the air-conditioning only is operational from 5:00pm until around 11:00/12:00pm. Breakfast was in one of the restaurants but the whole space is large and open and again cold. In most instances at this time of year it would require wearing a coat to meals.
Jiuzhaigou, the nature park was great to see, but several places were closed (due to weather) but the scenery was brilliant. It would only require a max of 2 days to see all this. Unfortunately, the hotel was very disappointing and I will not stay there again.
