My family and I really enjoyed our stay at King Parkview Hotel. The location is great, and the staff is really helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, very good value for money. Another plus is that if you want to try what an typical Chinese would have for their breakfast and dinner, just outside of the hotel there are some real staff (however don't expect dogs or snakes, just no surprise homely foods for the family at very good price). The only drawback I would say is that I did not have wireless internet access. After the initial stay there, we went back there again before we left China. This is the forth time I have stayed in Beijing, and this is the first hotel I have stayed twice.
The booking with Travel China Guide is a real surprise. An online booking service with the additional instant personal response from real people. One thing I would suggest is that it would be so much more convenient if there could be more information about the hotels, in particular directions to and from the hotels, both in Chinese and in English. As a regular traveler to China, I definitely recommend TCG to anyone who is planning to visit China.
