It is a well-known four-star business accommodation invested by Chongqing Kinglead Group and managed by Swan Int'l (HK) Hotel Management Limited. It is located in the central district of Chongqing, in 9 Keyuan 2nd Road, Shiqiaopu Hi-tech Development Zone. The hotel is in the intersection point of Yuzhong District, Shapingba District, Jiulongpo District, Banan District and Dadukou District with convenient transportation. It faces the Olympic Centre in the east, Yugao Park in the west and Chongqing TV Station in the north. It takes 10 minutes’ drive to the train station, 20 minutes to Chaotianmen Dock, 35 minutes to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, 15 minutes to the Liberation Monument business district and 3 minutes to the entrance of Chongqing-Chengdu Expressway. The hotel has 237 comfortable and delicate guest rooms which are equipped with the imported electronic lock, central air-conditioning, mini bar, automatic alarm systems, and satellite television with five channels from abroad, broadband internet access, international and domestic direct dialing telephone, and 24-hour room service. It also had the conference hall, Chinese and western restaurants, tea house, chess and card rooms, tennis court, basketball playground and saunas.

We stayed in the spacious Hotel Suite for 5 nights in Dec11 and love the clean white bed sheets, the warm white bedspread, the not-too soft white pillows and the fluffy white towels. The suite price quoted was value-for-money and includes a buffet breakfast with a good spread of local & western items. The hotel provides free internet access, has satellite TV and a 24hrs room service which was much appreciated when we find our stomachs growling in the middle of the night and it's freezing outside. The front office and housekeeping staff is courteous and helpful. The latter helped my sister unlocked her 'stucked' luggage with such skill that the lock was not damaged. Location of hotel is convenient with several amenities nearby; a fairly good hotpot restaurant, a HK porridge & tim sum cafe, 2 hair salons, a foot massage pallor, a nice bakery that opens from 7am till late and a food street lined with local stuff (mutton pot, BBQ meat). For the price of a small std twin in a downtown 4* hotel, we will definitely opt to stay at the spacious Hotel Suite at 4* Kinglead whenever we visit Chongqing :)

The facilities were fabulous and the little park across the street was fantastic (2 RMB, but worth it for a leisurely stroll through a nice little park). I even saw a TV show being filmed in the park (CQTV is just down the street) on one of my excursions. One of my most memorable trips to China.

My only complaint (not really a complaint, but warning to westerners), they do have dog on the menu.

This hotel is very nice and very quiet and also very romantic, I like so much this hotel and next time I will live there again and again, and tell every friends to be there coz its near also the airport and its near the city center, I forget say that this hotel have very nice and kind lady manger in the reception. Hope this manager remembers me next time.
