As a Sino-foreign joint venture, Kunming JinJiang Hotel is a luxury flagship hotel of Shanghai Jinjiang Group's International Management Corporation and is the member hotel of both UTELLINTERNATIONAL and China Famous Hotels Corporation. It is sited in Kunming's busy commercial and financial district with shopping malls, banks, restaurants, flower markets and entertainment facilities easily accessible. Started in 1993 and renovated in 2006, the hotel offers rooms of different sizes and styles. 22 TV channels are available in 4 languages--Chinese, English, Japanese and Thai. VOD, along with HBO and the other 2 movie channels of Yunnan TV and CCTV are most popular among guests. It also has a multifunction room, 7 restaurants serving both Chinese and western-style food, as well as entertainment and conference facilities.

Thank you for all your help on our recent trip to China. From the very start I was given every assistance from Cissy when booking accommodation for 14 people at 4 hotels. This is the first time I have used TCG booking Service and I was a bit concerned from what other people had said on the net about other booking services so I took a copy of all booking paperwork so as to prove reservations, payment etc.
This was not necessary as the hotels had been informed and had our keys waiting for us. One thing I did which worked well was to photocopy everyone's passport, writing in their visa number. When asked for passports I gave them a copy.
TCG even purchased our train tickets and delivered them to the hotel. I don't think this was the normal thing but it is very difficult to buy train tickets yourself unless you arrive 3 days prior to departure and even more difficult when you don't speak Mandarin.
Review of Hotels
Kunming JinJiang Hotel. Excellent rooms - clean - staff very helpful We left our luggage there until 9pm before catching the train to Dali They had 3 weddings that day.
Quiet location, set back from the road but close to everything. Good breakfasts. could change money at the desk which was much easier than the bank
Would stay there again

Kunming, Jin Jiang-We were accommodated in Blk B for the first 3 nights. Upon our return, we asked if we could be upgraded to Blk B since we were staying another 2 more nights, making it a total of 5 nights in Jin Jiang. The request was declined because Blk B caused more for the same type of rooms. It is sad because usually, any longer stay than 2 nights in most hotels would be appreciated and rewarded with some benefits.
As a whole, we appreciate the arrangements done by your agency. Though we have not met you in person, we are most grateful and would like to convey to you our greatest appreciation for all your fine efforts and help. We hope that the feedback is useful and we would like to say that we appreciate the pleasantness of the hotel staff and personnel too. Thanks.

Jin Jian is an OK hotel in Kun Ming. My experiences and observations on that hotel is as follows:
- Cost and facilities of the hotel do not match. There are very few facilities in the hotel.
- They should create some better after the evening activities
- They should open one disco bar/pub
