JJ Sun Hotel, Lanzhou.
Location very convenient for city center. Staff generally friendly, but (restaurant staff in particular) can seem unhelpful - simply because they lack the necessary professional training. English ability is very patchy. Facilities good, though windows extremely dirty - in a rather grey city where all available light is needed. Only about 200 meters up the road, however, the Lanzhou Legend hotel charges virtually the same prices (in April '09), yet offers far superior facilities, better views and helpful front desk - though a low standard of service in the 'International' restaurant (though food here is v. good) was a notable minus at the Legend too.

During my stay at the hotel, I found the hotel is really disappointing:
1. The service is bad. The bellboy talked to idlers instead of helping the guests.
2. The staff never smile and they never say hello to guests.
3. The room has a poor light and the carpet is dirty.
4. The staff is not efficient.
5. The breakfast is also poor. Less various and bad taste!

However, your booking service is a great delight. The staff in your booking center has a sweet voice and I really enjoy talking to her.
