Overall staying experience in Hotel Lido was good, Hotel staff was co-operative and rooms were clean.
Only problem is that most of the staff doesn't understand English, apart from this everything was fine.

Dear Mr./Ms.
The hotel lobby looks better because of its renovation. But the rooms are so old. The furniture and bathroom ceramic tiles are old and look unpleasant. In one room the toilet is bad. Water flows all the time. Toilet paper is not the new one. It seems collecting the rest of the old ones. If they want to save money, they should give us the new one for the first day, then no change the new one for the other days. But they let us use the old one for the first day. For service stuff, most of them are OK. We select this hotel many times because it is near the shopping area, especially food. We visited other hotels last year because of Lido hotel oldness. But this year we thought that the room rate increase because of renovate. So, we came back again. We found that only lobby is renovated, other are worse. We make decision that we will not come back to this hotel again.

Thank you so much for your kind patience. We were informed by the hotel staff that they are now doing an overall renovation on the hotel. However, since the hotel's business goes as usual, the renovation is being done part by part. Before your stay at the hotel, the Deluxe Rooms and the Business Rooms have been refurbished. Recently, they will have a renovation on the Standard Rooms. The hotel staff are sincerely sorry for your unpleasant stay at their hotel and they promised that they will give you a free upgrade to Business Room if they have the honor to serve you next time (except during the fairs). Every thing is fine but the Air-con is not cold and the room had no air ventilation
