Opened in 2005, Lijiang Wangfu Hotel is located in the World Cultural Heritage, Mu Wangfu Site in the Lijiang old city (the southern door district next to the Sanyan Well). The hotel faces the distant Yulong Snow Mountain, lying against the Lion Mountain and the Baima Longtan Temple where Prince Mu made a pilgrimage is to the west of the hotel. There are 106 guest rooms with Internet access in all the rooms. The old traditional hotel integrates the Na Xi culture into the design of the hotel, embodying the features of Na Xi ancient civil architecture. When you walk through the yard seeing all the rare flowers, the bird and the bug which completely show the essence of Na Xi civil custom, you will feel like being in the southern China. The hotel also provides guests with food, business centre, tickets booking, car rental, laundry, shopping mall, parking lot, massage, hairdressing, free airport pick-up service etc.

Splendid hotel, nice surroundings. We (2 adults and 2 kids 9 and 11) rent some bikes, across the street.. We go to baisha and in the town. Friendly staff (not so good English but helpful) Airport service was good, we have 1 hour delay but they still waiting on us. Breakfast was ok even for our kids and there was coffee! There are a lot of restaurants and shop nearby and still quiet at night.
First time travel with TCG but the service was excellent, my compliments. By booking they were helpful and everything was correct.

1st: the hotel is in a nice place (south of Old town of Lijiang) but not easy to go their without a map (cabs can't go their). The staff speak English NICE and is very kind! The rooms are good: clean, with space and wireless (free) but you can leasen to your neighbor or people walking in the street. The food is really so so. Better go in the restaurant next to the hotel. For me it is a good 3 star hotel but not 4 star sorry.
2nd: The booking on your web site is very easy, nice and don't need any charge for some hotel. I liked it and will book again some hotel if I stay in China on this website.

Positives: Location (at the south end of Lijiang Old Town) was quiet and clean. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops, and is only a 15-20 minute walk from the north end of the town. Rooms were clean and spacious. My husband and I stayed in a deluxe king room for 4 nights, and were extremely happy with the value for the money. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were accommodated with an early check in, and were picked up at the airport and brought to the hotel free of charge. The hotel also offers a car service back to the airport. Spa was relaxing and offers reasonably priced massages. Breakfast was better than most hotels, but food was a bit cold. Negatives: The hotel does not have in-room heat controls. The weather was unusually rainy and cold, and I would have preferred a warmer temperature in my room. The "western restaurant" on the first floor does not serve a western menu for dinner. Breakfast has some western options. The hotel does not offer tour booking services. There is a tour service directly across the street from the hotel that has some English-speaking staff.
