2. There were no booking problem
3. My only problem is that I was not fully aware on the type of room I have booked. I booked a seaview suite and thought that a suite would have 2 rooms but instead it was a single -large room- We however manage to overcome the sleeping arrangement as there were 3 adults and 1 kids (2 & 4 yo) (initially 2 kids). Perhaps the hotel website should have more picture or details on the rooms so that we can make better decision on the type of room we are booking.
4. The hotel looks better on the inside than outside - it looks rather old from the outside.

The overall location is fine, convenient. Coffeehouse service is good, the food is good but the reception staff are so stiff and lack of smile and welcoming feeling.
I had been traveling to Xiamen on regular basis for the last 3 years and this is the first time I had a lousy hotel room. It will be my last; I will not go back to that hotel anymore.

About the poor room size, our hotel is located in Zhongshan Road, facing Gulang Island. We have two main room types, Sea-view Room and Single Room. The former is our leading rooms due to the spacious room space and pleasant sea view. While the single room has a poor size since the hotel was built several decades ago and the room size could not be enlarged due to the limited setup. Besides, you can only see residential areas from the Single Room. If we have the honor to welcome you as our valued guest next time, we truly invite you to try the sea-view room. We are sure you will have a totally different feeling.
In view of your precious suggestionsl, we are now considering having an overall arrangement of all the guest rooms in order to guarantee every guest will have an satisfactory experience during the stay.
As for the chambermaid, we are sincerely sorry that she failed to deliver the principle of our hotel. We promise every guest can use the bath products freely during the stay.
About the service of the staff, we are truly sorry for not giving you satisfactory service. We will pay more attention to the staff training, improve our service awareness and service quality in every aspect, making every guest feel at home.
