General
Luoyang Peony Hotel is located in the city center and close to the Peony Fair Hall, surrounded by King City Park and the Friendship Mall. The total area of the hotel is 17,800 square meters, which stands an 18-floor main building covering an area of 15,000 square meters and a 6-floor functional building with 2,100 square meters. The hotel is fully equipped with dinning facilities with one big dinning hall and nine banquet halls, which provides guests with authentic Cantonese cuisine, local delicacies as well as French Cuisine. Besides, the supporting services here are ready. Now the hotel, opened in 1990 and renovated in 2005, offers totally 176 guest rooms.

In July 2010 we were in the – hotel at Luoyang.
This hotel is well spotted, clean and the front desk staff is very kind. The breakfast is very good but we always preferred the American breakfast. Travelchinaguides service was very good and the personal attention of Miss. Sara Liu was exceptional and fast.
The buffet for dinner is excellent and the personal in the kitchen and dinning room is very kind they accepted us even after one hour that they had closed. Food here is excellent and cheap!

I am happy to provide some feedback.
1. Our stay at hotel Luoyang was very pleasant, however we only stayed for one night and therefore did not see much of the hotel.
2. I am very pleased with the booking through tcg. We had to defer our stay at the hotel for one night on short notice and changes were made very quickly. Also, hotel address in Chinese was very helpful, especially since the hotel is 4km from the railway station and we had to take a taxi.
For sure, next time we need to book a hotel in China we will do so through tcg again!

Regards to the Luoyang Peony Hotel I stayed: Clean, but too far from the city center.

I was greatly disappointed by this hotel. It is only of 3-star quality. The drainage in the shower room was cloaked up. Staff was nice but not unexceptional.
