Marco Polo Hotel, Xiamen was opened in 1996 and renovated in 2003. It is located in the heart of the city, by the scenic Yuncang Lake and next to the city government, Xiamen People's Congress Hall and the foreign-investment zone. The hotel has 350 guest rooms which are exclusively designed with refined environment. Suites are on the 8th floor, which are 58 square meters and can provide wonderful view of beautiful lake scenery. The hotel specially set non-smoking levels and guest rooms only for the handicapped. Hotel services and facilities include the business center, car rental, ticket booking, laundry, shopping center, parking lot, airport pick-up, etc.

Where do I start -- My first business trip to China (staying at the Marco Polo Hotel in Xiamen) The reception staff friendly, helpful. The rooms first class ??lean, neat and every possible inclusion in the bathroom, even though there were major extensions going on nothing was a problem, and the best part was the three girls in the Lobby section, happy, curtious, helpful, and made me feel as though I had lived there for a few months, even started to teach me some Chinese.

On my next trip I will defiantly be staying at the Xiamen Marco Polo

My wife and I were part of a group that stayed overnight at the Marco Polo in Xiamen last Sept. 18, 2006. There is no mistaking the Marco Polo elegance all over the place. We really find it hard to describe a hotel that is undoubtedly Chinese and yet Western in every aspect. It was our good fortune to have stayed there. Congratulations! Great job!

Great service! Check the price of 8 floor (Guest Floor), happy hours 5.30pm-7.30pm included and free laundry service (up to RMB 100 per day), free internet as well. There are two very good restaurants - Lucky Full City Seafood and Shu You Seafood nearby. Just 5-7 mins walking distance. Not in shopping area but nice place to relax and rest. I will stay there again.
