General
Located in the commercial center of Kowloon Peninsula, the Marco Polo Gateway, Hong Kong is one of the three hotels under Marco Polo Hotels Management Group. The hotel provides 399 guest rooms and suits, spacious and cozy. It owns superior position, located at the common border of Canton Road and Haiphong Road at Tsim Sha Tsui. Contiguous to Harbor City, the largest mall in Hong Kong, the hotel is the most appropriate place for lodging and shopping. Transportation here is also very convenient, just a few minutes to Bus Terminal, Star Ferry, and MTR Station on foot, 10 minutes or so to the Cross Harbor Tunnel and Western Harbor Crossing, and 35 minutes to the airport by driving and about 40 minutes by MTR. Moreover, airport shuttle buses which take about an hour are also arranged for guests by the hotel.

The facilities are a little bit old, but the hotel service is quite good. I brought some luggage when check in and the staff helped me to carry them to my room. I was really thankful. It is a good place for shopping. The harbor city is just on the 2nd floor, and it is about 10min to Hong Kong Macau ferry terminal.

I just come back office from a 7 days vacation to mainland China. Thank you for arranging for such a wonderful trip. I stayed only one night in the hotel but was deeply impressed by this hotel. The location was superb, only a few minutes walk to Nathan Road. It was close to the Star Ferry terminal and MTR. The gateway shopping mall is just underneath the hotel, you could take the elevator to second floor and get off there for the mall. Our room is spacious and very clean. The bed is a little hard but very huge. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff changed our bed sheets, pillowcase and towels everyday. The breakfast was good and don? worry about your dining place, there?e lots of good restaurants around this area.
