Dear Mr. Bruce Wang, It has been a pleasant stay in Metropark Apartment, Shenzhen. All essentials are being provided in the room which is also clean and quiet. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Location is walking distance to MRT line for travelling locally. It is only 2 stops by MRT to Luohu Station for Train & buses to other provinces, as well as China & HK immigration & customs check point for crossing over to HK, which we did. Very convenient and no hassle. Will probably stay in this same hotel if we ever go to Shenzhen again. On our booking through Travel China Guide, it has been easy and straight forward, with fast & helpful response. Your website is also very informative which has been of great assistance to us. But, I understood that the room had different room even though the roome rate was same fare. Last time, I just saw different room through my friend room. Firstly the TCG booking was simple and was as easy as any other comparable travel company. Secondly the hotel itself was very good. As far as value for money goes, it was great. I stayed in a business suite which was very large, had a small kitchenette, bedroom, desk, lounge, meals table, 2 TVs, safe and most other normal facilities. The furnishings were fairly new and the staff were very friendly (trying very hard to communicate in English). The location was perfect if you are going to Shenzhen for shopping ?its about a 100m walk to the Dongmen pedestrian shopping area (for those who haven’t visited Shenzhen before its to my knowledge the best and easiest spot for a tourist to shop ?and far enough from the train station to not get ripped off). The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the train station ?which is much easier than a taxi if you have lots of luggage ?taxis in Shenzhen will often drop you off a fair way from the station and you get stuck with people trying to take your luggage and pull it for you for money. Overall I would rate the hotel at 4 stars for quality, 5 stars for location, 4/4.5 stars for service. I have also stayed in Shenzhen at the Far East Grand Hotel ?I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. ?its location is great but the hotel is very old and run down and also the staff do not speak any English. There are also some strange people that were hanging around trying to take advantage of tourists. Also I have stayed at the 999 Royal Suites and Towers. This is a fantastic hotel. Its location is ok ?but not as good as the Metropark hotel. The rooms are very very good and would recommend the standard suite to anyone. I found that the staff were very helpful and friendly and honest. ?I lost my credit card (which admittedly may have been their fault) BUT they were honest and caring enough to contact me when I returned to Hong Kong and had the card couriered to my hotel there at their expense. I would stay here again. I would rate this hotel 5 stars for quality, 4 stars for location and 5 stars for service. Metropark Hotel, Shenzhen is a very nice hotel for the price range. Suitable for family with its spacious room and facilities. A bit old but still cleanly maintained. In the center of Dongmen, a shopping haven. But be very careful for snatch theft. Always practice safety precautions. When I requested for an additional blanket at 9.30pm a male service staff delivered to my room within 5 mins. On 17/10/05, I took a taxi from Luohu Railway Station, Shenzhen to the Metropark Hotel, the driver did not know where was the Hotel. In fact I felt it was not the driver fault, as we reached the Hotel finally through road name i.e. DongMen Road, From then, I found that the Hotel was actually named 'Metropole Service Apartment'.
