General

Located on the ancient Wenchang Road in city center, the Metropark Hotel was opened in 1999 and renovated in 2006. It is close to the Slender West Lake, Wenchang Pavilion, Pingsha Tang and He Garden. In the hotel, there are 242 standard and deluxe rooms, all of which are equipped with central air-conditioning and satellite TV. The 14th floor is specialized for non-smoking guests while the executive suites are on the 15th and 16th floors. On the 17th floor, there is a club which could be used for Chinese and western banquet, cocktail party, conference and other business activities. What’s more, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant could serve you with authentic local food and delicate Cantonese cuisine. The other Asian food and western dinner could be enjoyed in the café on the first floor.

Thank you for your good service. Frankly, I am a little bit worried about my reservation at first as it is my first time to work with TCG. Well, when I get to the hotel and my reservation was there, room offered was also as the same as advertised on TCG, I really felt great about that. Good job, keep up with your work. As the metropark hotel, yes, it is a good choice. Room was very nice and comfortable, facilities were new and service was very good. The most important thing is the price is reasonable and the standard I received even beyond what I paid for. I will stay again in this hotel and highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We found TCG an excellent way to find suitable accommodation for our visit to Yangzhou. We are Australians currently teaching English here in China and like to travel to different cities to see the sites. Your booking centre makes it easy for us to locate our accommodation. The Grand Metropole Hotel was perfect for our needs, providing excellent service. We were able to relax and enjoy our time off. The staff were very helpful, assisting us to organise a guide and also on check out held our luggage until it was time for us to catch our bus later in the afternoon.
The central location of the Hotel enabled us to walk to many of the areas we wished to see and most others were a short cab ride away. We thank you for our very comfortable stay, we have no hesitation in recommending both the booking system and hotel to anyone travelling to Yangzhou.
