1) Rating: 3.5/5
Our stay at Mission Hills was an enjoyable one. I had read earlier that they provided shuttle buses directly from Sheung Wan to the resort, but not anymore. What they do have are shuttle buses in the New Territories close to Fairview Park which is rather inconvenient to get to unless you have a car. The ride wasn't bad though and the driver and staff were good at ensuring safety when crossing the borders by placing stickers on us and counting and checking before leaving anywhere.
The resort itself is comfortable, clean, and has great views. I liked the hotel room view of the golf course and the balcony was a nice touch. The only drawbacks were the sink that never really stopped leaking and mosquitoes in the room (though the service was good and efficient when we asked about the mosquito netting - someone quickly came up to open it around our bed).
Service was inconsistent. We didn't expect much service though so we were pleased when it was good and felt it was expected when it was subpar. Massage staff turned from gentle, sweet ladies to those of frowning faces and glares when they realized I didn't bring cash to the spa session and when I offered to write it into the bill afterwards, because it had already been rung up, it could not be accounted for and that rendered even more ill will... Paying for services could be confusing too and the staff seemed to be just as confused at times. Sometimes you paid with a special card issued by the hotel, sometimes you didn't. Our golf instructor brought us back to the main desk for payment of our lesson only to be nearly rejected by the counter staff before a heated argument that lasted 10minutes. Apparently they had different ideas on where to pay these class fees - down by the driving range 5 min away or at the counter. Language was a slight barrier too. Most staff did not understand English, so non-Chinese speakers beware!
Food was great at the Chinese restaurant and we couldn't stop ourselves from ordering nearly everything and finishing it all. Prices were reasonable as well. I would definitely avoid the western restaurant though. Most of the food tasted as though it was just dunked in plain water.
The private driving range had beautiful surroundings. It was quiet and peaceful and the scenery was postcard like.
I would consider visiting again since it does have nice courses and driving range and the golf should be what is most important. Rooms are decent enough too and aside from the mean service at the end of the spa session, the treatment itself and the environment was fine.
2) 5/5 Service was quick and efficient.

Dear Ms. YUEN Christine shiu kee,
Thank you for your kind feedback.
As for the shuttle buses, we were informed by the hotel that they only have shuttle buses departing from New Terrirotires instead of Sheung Wan. Sorry to have cause trouble to you.
As your experience at the Massage service, the hotel has many Massage rooms inside and outside the hotel, it is hard to check which one served you then. But they do promise to improve the staff quality and service. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Please feel free to contact us should you need any help or any info.
Best Regards,
Lena Qian
