General
Located at the intersection of Yingbin Road and Nanda Road in Panyu District, Nanfang Yiyuan Hotel Guangzhou is close to Chimelong Resort and about 10 minutes ride away from Guangzhou Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Center. The hotel is a four star business hotel. It was established in 2002 and redecorated in 2010 with novel design, unique and luxurious decorations. The hotel has Chinese and western restaurants, luxury compartments, music bar, multifunctional hall, conference room, leisure center and sauna room. In addition, Nanfang Yiyuan Hotel Guangzhou provides the rooftop observation lounge, tea house with folk shows and video auditorium.

I stayed 5 nights.
The staff was wonderful, polite, obliging, warm, and caring people.
The staff at the reception DO NOT speak English
the breakfast & food at both restaurants were good.
But most items in the breakfast area were cold.
The coffee was not warm enough. Milk was cold.
About Rooms...
Clean rooms, but can do better.
Bathroom was ok, but needs repairs.
Rubber bath mat was very old and dirty.
Everything was wrong from the beginning I entered.
The fridge & the safe in the alternate suite I was given did not work. The lighting system in the room was very poor.
There are no shopping areas nearby. It is very isolated. Very far to the airport.
The general staff are the warmest, affectionate & best people I had ever met in China.

I was very satisfied with the service of TCG. I arrived in the hotel and everything was as foreseen. Thank you very much for this. I will certainly use your service again when I travel, but I will always have the same problem I had with the first booking. You ask your customers to give a credit card number to be certain for booking, but I never use a card. I always pay cash in advance, so I never have any troubles. This will make it difficult for the future. This time I only staid at the hotel 2 nights ( instead of the 1 night foreseen), but it could be in the future that I will stay one week or so. How about the booking then?
As concerns the hotel, it was very good. The facilities were very nice, the room was nice and also the location was excellent for the business I had to do. Some remarks anyway. It was very hard for the people in the hotel to find somebody who could speak English. This is a common problem in China. Secondly, it was a pity that they had a " western restaurant" but only during day and evening time. For the breakfast was only a Chinese breakfast foreseen, so I had to wait half an hour before somebody could bring me 2 backed eggs with some bread and coffee.
For a 4 star hotel this is a pity. I have been in 3 star hotels who already had this facility so a 4 star should certainly have this breakfast option.

It is a star ranked hotel close to the Wild Animal World. We have stayed there this summer. The hotel is average every aspect. The neighborhood around is under development so no place for visiting. However, we failed to find a better hotel nearby so stay in it.
