This September, 2008 stay was my third time at the the New Harbour Service Apartment with different groups of friends. We all love the location which is within a 10 -15 minutes walk to the Bund, Xin Tian Di, Huai Hai Lu, Shanghai Museum, Yu Yuan and Nanjing Lu. There is a convenience store next door and choice of local eateries in the next street. We were all happy with the spacious, clean and comfortable apartments. The hotel breakfast has very good coffee and a buffet of Chinese, Japanese and Western items. The hotel can also arrange for airport transportation and touring transportation at a reasonable price. This was the third time I used TCG hotel booking. I find the TCG booking experience extremely efficient. I would recommend your service without hesitation.

If you want to get a real feel of Shaghai then look no further than the New Harbour. I stayed in 2006 and everything was just as I expected. The staff were excellent, the appartments were clean, spacious and the amenities of the hotel were great. The bar was very small but very inviting, the resteraunt had everything that you would expect. The location of the hotel was fantatstic! Everytime you walked out of the hotel you were in the real Shanghai, with real people not the touristy part. There is a grocery convenience store 50 Mtrs from the front door & walking to Nanjing Rd only took about 20mins but with so much to look at on the way seemed about 5. To sum up if you have a family or are travelling alone deffinately stay at the New Harbour you will not be dissapointed.

I was impressed with the ease of service with TravelChinaGuide. The booking was as requested with the apartment being spacious and clean. Maybe some crockery other than a tea cup and cutlery would have helped. Even a bottle opener was absent. The breakfast was good and a reasonable cost. The staff were helpful and the location is easy to access by foot from the Nanjing road area. I would recommend this hotel
