Due to its location, this is the perfect hotel for some of the sites like Tiananman Square and the Forbidden City-Also well located for shopping as Wangfujing Street is full of the 'top names' also some more reasonable shopping areas within walking distance. Food was excellent Drinking at the bar area can become expensive though! Guest Name : STEVENSON, TONY Nationality : british Updated : 2007-6-15 Great location walking distance to do shopping and 20 mins buy cab to the silk market and good hotel rooms also were good nothing too great but clean and nice .Buffet bfst was very good too much to eat u dont need lunch then and dinner is both very good .Only thing is wish the front reception the ladies would be more friendly and helpfull aswhen u enter the hotel after a long flight u expect to be treated well . i think they are colour biast and i saw them treating white skin much better . hopefully the front desk will have smiling faces not glum ones .The men on the front desk were helpful.The bell desk was very good and wrote in chinese the place the tax guy could take u.I still recomend the hotel and if i visit beijing again i surely stay there . Best wishes Martin Mulloy Guest Name : Mr. Martin Mulloy Nationality : British Updated : 2006-6-21 1) We were very pleased with the TCG booking centre and the service was excellent. 2) The service, facilities, staff were all excellent at the Novatel Peace Hotel in Beijing, the only criticism was the loud music that kept me awake.
