The good point about this hostel is it CHEAP price related to the quality it offers and its centric situation: once you found it is very easy to move in WangFuJing town and it has a lot of subway stations near.
I recommend it for sure.
I really appreciate the Travelchinaguide and the booking of a room at Oriental Peace Hotel was easy.
The location of the Oriental Peace Hotel is perfect and our room was very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the heating was on during the chilly days in March when we stayed at the hotel. However, the bathroom smelled from the sewage system and the tiles in the shower were to a big extent missing or loose. If we had been able to communicate better with the receptionists we would have tried to get a room with a better bathroom.

We stayed Oriental Peace Hotel in Beijing for 2 days. We feel the room was tiny but clean and well furnished.The bathroom was small but it was very clean and nice. Reciptionists were very helpful and know good english.
Subway line 1 is very near as well as Tieananman Square, Forbidden city and Wangfujing road.
The problems we faced was to find out the location, it will be easier to find if we mention Hayat Hotel was just opposite to the hotel as the Oriental hotel is surrounded by other big buildings and hotels.So there should be one big signboard,indicating the direction of the hotel and another was receiptionists were a little bit slow in process of check in.
TCG team were very prompt in their service. Overall we were very pleased and satisfied with hotel service and TCG service.We will be there again if we visit Beijing again.
