I noted the other comments on this hotel. It should be noted that there are two Peace Hotels. North Tower and South Tower. The North Tower is preferred and book the Superior rooms which are large and roomy. Inner rooms which are standard rooms are small. The South Tower rooms and hotel needs some work. North Tower was built in 1926 South Tower at the turn of the century.

I stayed at the Peace Hotel On May 22. It was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Me and my spouse could not sleep all night due to the conversation that took place adjacent to my room. The worst part is cigarette smoke seeps through the wall. The bathroom had mildew all over. It is not worth staying in this 100 yr old hotel. It is not cheap either!

I am back in Canada. I was very happy with the hotel arrangements in Shanghai. The Peace Hotel is an excellent place to stay and if I return to China in the future I will certainly stay at this hotel and I will use your services to book it. Thank you very much for your assistance.
