Opened in 2009, it is located in the time-honored Bund. The marvelous views of the bund, the Huangpu River, Pudong, and the garden of the former British Consulate could be seen from the hotel. The design and decoration of the hotel shows the charm of Shanghai in its 1920s and 1930s, when it was reputed as the 'Eastern Paris'.
