Only 2 negative remarks that I’m sure the hotel can easily do something about:
1.Our room smelled cigarette smoke.
2. Bathroom cabinets are broken and it kept on dropping cause it was only attached with a piece of paper. Aside from this, everything else is okay.

We booked the family room but when we showed up they said they didn't have the family room any more. They eventually found us a room with a queen and a single. Every time you had a shower the bathroom floor would be covered with water. It was raining when we left and it took forever to get a taxi from that area. Overall we thought it was poor. We would never stay there again.

Bad choice for oversea travelers who will get duped if they see the photos on the website. It is a good hotel for local stds. Definitely, not for overseas travelers who might want to throw up with the smell of cigarettes in the whole hotel/room etc. The non-usage of laundry services or even the phone on the day we arrived (we could NOT call out to anyone - not customer friendly at all). The breakfast is very local and not edible for overseas travelers.

However, location-wise is great to the eastern side of Forbidden City and shopping and food rest and other scenic sites. But be warned~ most rests marked up their food prices with their 2 different sets of menu for locals or overseas customers.

Great location! The room was comfortable to stay.
The only negative about this hotel is housekeeping didn't bother to clean the floor. Footprints were still visible on its wooden flooring, the rest is fine.
