General
Prime Hotel, Chengdu is located in the most prosperous golden section for shopping, entertainment and business activities. It is only 30 minutes drive from airport, 15 minutes' drive from railway station and 10 minutes' drive from Chongyu bus station. The hotel was opened in 1998 and redecorated in 2003. The 234 rooms are elegant and well-equipped with electrical lock, air-conditioner, satellite television, washing room, mini bar and refrigerator. Decorated by 300 original works from famous landscape painters of Sichuan, the hotel has a strong local Sichuan flavor. The five conference rooms are on the 19th floor, which can hold 300-400 guests at one time to have business conference, product exhibition and buffet reception. The business centre in the lobby offers business services such as fax, print, delivery, copy and equipment leasing, etc.

The booking experience with TCG was good, but the conditions of the rooms located at the old main building were bad and not comfortable. We have no alternative but to upgrade to rooms located at the new wing and of course we need to pay double for the little extra comfort.

Facility very poor condition. Staffs at the reception appearance dont look smart. Location is good Booking experience with TCG is good but this hotel is not 4 stars hotel. Condtion in the room is very poor. Buffet breakfast is poor and the plates are dirty. I have booked for 2 nites but I stay for 1 nite.

We moved from IBIS to this hotel cause of the newly renovated section. Although we have just checked into IBIS, we paid one night without staying to move into Prime Hotel. The conceige has very good recommendation.

As for Prime Hotel, Chengdu, it is a good hotel, nice room, location is good. Did not interact much with staff but they seemed professional

We are very happy with the quick response time and the additional help given.
As for the facilities in this hotel, we can't say much as we did not really explore the hotel and did not have the luxury of the time. However, we are very happy with the location which is next to the shopping area.
