It is an airport hotel so no surroundings. They pick u up from the airport and bring you back there, free of charge. Convenient! The rooms are very small, yet enough for a one night stay over.
Surprisingly they have 3 English speaking TV channels, include CNN. The JinJiang Inns is very modern, seems to be quite new, spotlessly clean, nothing to complain about.
Careful, the receptionists are trained to lie to people asking about a supermarket/mini market close by. Both, to me and to another Chinese patron they said there is none. Which one could easily believe because there is indeed nothing around the hotel? However there is one mini mart just behind the building on the ground floor of the neighboring building, quite hard to spot if you don’t know it because it is inside and on the backside of what appears to me as either a police or customs officers mess. But absolutely open to anyone and open 24/7. So if you need a pack of cigarettes, some booze or some instant noodles it is there. Just around the corner.
I would without hesitation stay there again if on a stop over in Shanghai.

Jin Jiang Inn -Pudong Airport
The pick up service from/to airport was good. The reception service was efficient, the receptionists were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, the view from our room was extremely nice, it was a rather unexpected surprise. Although the hotel was a bit old and the bathroom was a bit small, the view has made up for it. The general standard of the hotel was very good.
We do not mind you putting our comments on your website.

Hello!
Thank you for the chance to place a review on the hotel. Cannot say enough about the friendly, helpful staff the location to the airport (which we needed) and the facilities were 1st class. We had our evening meal and our breakfast next day before leaving for the airport absolutely as good as any 5 star hotel anywhere. Our daughter is a travel consultant with STA travel and we have recommended this hotel unequivocally as very good value for money.

I am writing to let you know that I enjoyed my recent stay at Jin Jiang Inn Pudong Airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was pleasant, modern and clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the airport. And a very good value. I would stay there again if passing through Pudong Airport.
