The hotel was well located within walking distance of the south gate and a few blocks from the bell tower. Easy to get to some of the more centrally located sights. The hotel was clean although a bit worn. The staff was wonderful. Helpful with maps, directions, getting taxi's, etc. We did not partake of the breakfast or meals in the hotel, so cannot comment on that. Tracy Chen, front desk staff was especially helpful and fluent in English. The bell staff bent over backwards to help also.

First the hotel reception wanted to give us a smoking room, I had to argue to have a non smoking room and wait. The first non smoking room had a leak of water in the shower, the floor of the bathroom was full of water, had to change of room again. Even if we were two people registered for the room it had only one set of towels. I had to ask three times to the reception before getting an additional towel for my partner.
Other than that the hotel was ok, well located, clean.

Your booking service is good. Also, guest reviews available do give some guidance. However, concerning website content about Chinese hotels, in my opinion Chinese hotel names and addresses have also to be given in pinyin and Chinese characters so that they are better used by travellers.

As regards the four hotels we booked through your company, we were pleased with the facilities. The location of all of them was convenient, near subway stations. We really enjoyed staying in the middle of a neighborhood that showed real life.
Unfortunately it's very difficult to find English speakers in China even in these hotels.
We'd like to mention specially Haohai International Hotel in Datong. In our opinion the best hotel we visited. This does not refer only to the facilities which were excellent. They made their best to understand us, to help us with train tickets we couldn't book, in a few words to make our stay better.
On leaving the hotel we left a note that read:
