I stayed in Scitech hotel for a week (March 14 2006- March 21). Very friendly and nice staff,good English at the lobby, room service is fast. The hotel is conveniently situated in the centre of Beijing, not far from Silk Market (shop there for clothes and DO bargain - they can sell a thing to you for 10% of the price they want to get!!) and a McDonald's :) I will be back! Yes, I am very satisfied with bthe TCG Booking Service, I have used it before and it has always been very efficient and good. Many thanks. 2. Yes, the Scitech Hotel, Beijing was excellent - and I will definitely stay there again. My only concern was that the Internet Service provided by the hotel was very poor compared to other Beijing hotels. The rooms only had connections via the internal telephone which meant that you could only use your laptop computer on the bedside table by disconnecting the room telephone. This was very unsatisfactory. Plus - the actual internet service was very slow and not as good as other Beijing hotels. The Scitech is an excellent hotel - but its internet access is very poor.
