Shanghai City Central Youth Hostel, opening up in 2005, is the largest Youth hostel in Shanghai at present. There are 150 rooms in the hostel. The rooms are comfortable include ensuites, doubles, singles, and 4 bed dormitories with central air conditioning and individual controls in each of the 150 rooms. The hostel offers a computer/internet room, billiards, bar, and karaoke with jukebox. There is a 24-hour supermarket, breakfast bar, coffee lounge, ATM, IC/IP phones. Nearby the hostel there is KFC, Mc'Donald, Bi Feng Tang restaurant, Bank and post office.

Hello. I write in reply at your review request for Shanghai City Central Youth Hostel. This hostel has great rooms and an excellent ambiance, most of all for us backpackers. It's nice and clean, and the staff is very helpful. It's in the middle of a very busy commercial area, which is quite convenient for shopping fans. It is farely well placed, not so close from downtown, but just a couple of blocks away from a Subway station. A couple of street signs could be helpful, since it's a little bit hard to find for first-timers. About the booking service of TCG, I can truly tell you it's the best booking service I've known in China. I've already recommended it to my friends and I'd easily do the same with anyone I know who'd like to visit China. The only suggestion I can give you is to keep the good work. Congratulations.
