The place was quite good. The location was about a 20 min walk form the central train station; and about 30 min walk to Nanjing street. So the location is quite good. The staff were friendly, however they weren't very knowledgeable about shanghai. For example I asked them where there was a bar and they couldn't really say and there are couple excellent ones right around the corner on kaoding street if that is the correct spelling. Same thing happened about a book store, but I don't think that is peculiar to only that hotel. I think it is common. Otherwise quite a good deal.

Thank you. I was satisfied with the service and the hotel. Two things can be improved: the booking confirmation came late and I wasn't sure it had gone through. Second, it wasn't clear that there was only one bed in the room so we had to change to a room with two...

The hotel location is very great. I could visit Shanghai without using any taxi (only subway sometimes). The hotel is very good. Rooms and bathroom are comfortable and nice. The only problem might be that the rooms are not very well isolated.
