Generally, for most hotels, even though you stay 6 hours, you still need to pay one whole day's room rate. As for the single and cheap room, maybe Jin Jiang Inn East Shanghai Pudong Airport can meet your budget.

You can check on the page by selecting the location as 'south railway station', and then you will find the corresponding hotels. So far as I know, there is Single Room in Feng Ye Super 8 Hotel Shanghai South Railway Station. For reservation, just submit online booking directly.

Hi, you would better provide your departure place for the transportation details. Anyway, you can get to Yiwu first and then take the coach bus to Dongyang, which cost around CNY10 per person. Now CNY6.80 is equal to US $1.00.
Besides, Dongyang has attractions such as Shemu Mountain Scenic Spot, the Palace of Emperor of Qin Dynasty, Hengdian World Studios etc. For the accommodation cost, you can refer to the info: Dongyang Huasha Hotel, the room rate for the Standard Room is around CNY300 per room per night.

Recent news showed that about 80% of the hotels in Shanghai have published the room rate during the World Exposition period and began accepting bookings. Also that the room rate will be increased to different extents during the World Expo. And the tariff will be increased by 20% on average.
