Hello, me and my husband will be attending the World Expo 2010 by mid May. What 3 star hotel is within walking distance to the EXPO site? Also, we'll be visiting two Suppliers, one is in Jie Fang Ave 686#, Wuhan 430022 and another in South Industry Area, Shaoxing , Zhejiang. We would like to try the bullet trains in going to these places. Is it possible for us to visit these places one day each using the bullet trains from Shanghai? Thank you in advance for any reply.

Manhattan Bund Business Hotel, Shanghai is just located in the most prosperous commercial and financial center-the Bund Area. And you can try this three star hotel. The distance between shanghai and Nanjing is about 300km; you could take D train, which takes less than 2 hours.

Lujiazui Century Hotel is a good choice. It is near to the Pudong New International Expo. Center and also close to Longyang Road Station of Subway line 2. From Shanghai to Yiwu, you can choose to take the D train at Shanghai South Railway Station, which is faster than taking bus. And the cost is CNY97 for one second class seat.

Do you mean you will attend a fair in Shanghai New International Expo Center? If so, you can book a hotel along the Subway Line 2 or Subway Line 7. You can get off at Longyang Road Subway Station which is less than 1 km from the New International Expo Center. As for the transportation from Shanghai to Yiwu, it is better to take a D train. Taking a bus will cost you about 4 hours; by comparison, it will only take you less than 2.5 hours to take a D train to Yiwu; while the fare is almost the same. The D trains from Shanghai to Yiwu depart from Shanghai South Railway Station, and you can take the Subway Line 1 (see the Subway Map of Shanghai) to get there. Generally, for most hotels, even though you stay 6 hours, you still need to pay one whole day's room rate. As for the single and cheap room, maybe Jin Jiang Inn East Shanghai Pudong Airport can meet your budget.

You can check on the page by selecting the location as 'south railway station', and then you will find the corresponding hotels. So far as I know, there is Single Room in Feng Ye Super 8 Hotel Shanghai South Railway Station. For reservation, just submit online booking directly.
