Shanghai Marriot Hotel Hongqiao is 3 kilometers away from the Hongqiao development Zone and close to Shanghai world trade shopping mall and International exhibition center. It only takes 10 minutes to reach Everbright Exhibition & Convention Center and one can get to Hongqiao airport in seconds from the hotel. On the opposite of the hotel is a newly-built international agricultural exhibition center which can hold different exhibitions. Shanghai Marriot Hongqiao Hotel has luxurious guest rooms, suites and executive floor. It even has compound suites which are 180 square meters large and the presidential suite of 411 square meters. Service - not so impressive for an international 5 star
a. long wait for meals at restaurants due to lack of crowd
b. poor taxi service when getting out of hotel - no proper help to queue
c. main reception - took 20 mins to check in because many customers but only 1 girl on duty
2. TCG booking - as usual, the service is more than excellent, congratulations.

First time at this hotel. Really enjoyed this stay as well. The big corner room have a large sitting area and separate Shower. I love this hotel.

I stayed there on a business trip a few days ago. It's conveniently located near the airport. The Sunday Brunch is one of the best ones. The staff was always on point with directions or lending a helping hand. I'll definitely stay here next time.

The location was perfect for me, it was not on the Bund or downtown, but more to the west side of the city. There is a Starbucks opposite the hotel. The room is comfortable and clean. The staff are helpful and kindly.
