General Comment on the Piaoying Xingang Hotel: Very good hotel! The rooms were very good, four-star quality. Also surprisingly very affordable for the quality stated...a very clever find! The only "down" side (if you even call it that) is that it's a 15-minute bus ride (take Bus 55 or 910) from the city center, which I don't think is such a bad thing. A bus ride costs 2 RMB one way. The down side comes at night, when you have to take a cab (costs on average 20-30 RMB from the city center), which again, isn't such a bad thing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS and I will definitely return to this hotel when I come back to Shanghai. :) Comment on the Booking Experience through the TCG Booking Center: EXCELLENT! Booking was very, very convenient. Fast responses and immediate action were experienced, not to mention the cordial tone they used.
