This is the best hotel available in Baotou, located just next to a beautiful park; the facilities are very new and made me feel comfortable. I was really impressed by the courtesy of the Hotel Staff and will always like to stay there and will surely recommend to my friends & colleagues. Both the Chinese and buffet restaurants were very good and offered good value breakfast. The service we received from Travelchinaguide is also quick and reliable.

I stayed 5 nights at the Shangri La for business in Baotou in August 2010. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the service and facilities are equal to a 4 star hotel in the US or Australia, but the cost is much cheaper. I am going back to Baotou in October and will stay there again.

Pretty brand-new hotel! I heard it was just opened on Nov 01, 2007. And it was indeed the first luxury hotel in Baotou till now. Till Apr 01, 2008, everyone can enjoy a special introductory rate, which is amazing! I enjoyed this staying very much! The staffs are well trained, room was spacious and comfortable. Also, it is easy to find the hotel, it just in the city center (close to the Yinhe Square ). It is a 30-minute drive from the airport and within 15 minutes drive of the railway station. Hope this info. could share with all of you.
