as a professional photojournalist I stayed in hotels over 35 countries cheap and very expensive. This is the best hotel I ever stayed in. I wished all the hotels were like this one.

I have stayed in over 50 hotels in China This hotel was the best by far From arriving to leaving the staff were extremely helpful, friendly, efficient and welcoming. The hotel was clean modern and the food was suitable for both Easter and Western tastes.
Only slight critisism illuminated alarm clocks would have helped together with more controllable air conditioning Even in November the rooms were too hot .
My next visit I will no longer have to find a good Beijing hotel as that is now found

I stayed at this hotel to attend a conference held there. Actually the Conference organiser recommended it and made the booking. Bad experience started at the airport- my flight was delayed and I tried to contact the hotel to find out if any hotel reps were at the airport to pick me up. The phne call from my roaming cell phone costed me 30 US$ since they were transferring me one to the other and each one asking me to spell my full name-lot of confusion till I shut up and took a taxi.
Because of the flight delay they tried to charge me for an extra night and when I asked for their cancellation/delay policy they refused to show me one. Upon intervention of the Organiser, they charged him for that night despite the event attracted 100+ people to the hotel.
A day after I left China, the hotel e-mailed me informing that they have charged my VISA an additional night- double charge for a night I never stayed.
Do not even try to ask/explain anything-nobody listens, they repeat the same sentences irrespectful of what you say. They care only about charging anything they can, customer openion is irrelevant
