We booked Shangri-la Hotel follow a friend? recommendation. Truly, it was a great hotel. Luxury decorated lobby, comfortable room, we love the view of the river from our window, always perfect service of Shangri-la. Yet it was not that close to the Business center or shopping center of the town, we suppose it was the best hotel in Guangzhou. The hotel has shuttle bus, also taxis were easy to get, why still staying in the heavily polluted city center?! We will come back to this hotel again for future trip in Guangzhou and also will recommend it our friends and colleagues. This view is unmatched anywhere in the city and their gardens are fabulous and the pool reminds you of a resort without the crowds. this is a great place to stay and easily accessible to the city ie 10 min to the nearest metro station (shuttle provided) and 20 min to the shopping areas.
