Shenzhen Shangri-La Hotel is very well located just opposite the Luohu train station, and it takes around 5 minutes to reach the Luohu pass, very convenient. Maybe that?? the reason why it is a little bit noisy. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable, the internet is for complimentary. To me, the only shortness in the room is the shower, I have to stand into the tub to take shower, because the shower and the tub is combined together(unused). The hotel staff are well trained, they always smile, appear friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends definitely. The room rate is a little high, but the service is great. You can not find the same standard service in other hotels, the convenient location, beautiful hotel building, comfortable and deluxe room and well-skilled hotels staffs. Just one problem is that you need to made reservation first before you check into the hotel, because the rooms are always under great demand. I had the experience that I did not made reservation firstly, and when I arrived the hotel, I was informed that no room is available. Thus, I had to find another hotel. They should have been more helpful with explaining to me where I should go to buy the ticket for the train to Guangzhou, because there are 2 places and I did not know which one. The TCG Hotel Booking center was great, I would highly recommend them to anyone needing hotels in China and/or flights as they helped me book flights last month. I will definitely use TCG again.
